The I Love Music Tour is an innovative twist to traditional fundraising that is designed to raise $10,000 to $20,000 for the host school. Here is how the program works:
Concept
The name of this concept is the I Love Music Tour. We will bring nationally recognized recording artists to high schools to perform concerts. The school’s band students will sell tickets and provide word of mouth advertisement while we book the acts and handle every aspect of the production, including the stage, lights, and sound. In addition, we will provide insurance and security for the event. Everything that is needed to turn a gymnasium into a high powered concert arena, we will deliver.
The Ticket
The concert ticket will give the holder entry into the concert and a $500 door prize. Each ticket will also include valuable coupons to many local and national businesses. The whole idea is that the ticket holder gets something that they can enjoy while making a difference in someone's life.
The Artist
Depending on where the school is located and it’s demographics, we may bring in a country, pop, or R&B act. We are unable to offer rap or metal acts, because insurance restrictions prevent us from doing so. In order to bring as much profit to you as possible, we don’t hire major recording artists, but rather groups who may have broken into the Top 40 once or twice, but are still known and marketable. We may also bring in up and coming artists as opening acts. Ultimately, we look for artists who appeal to high school age fans.
Types of Schools we use
We are looking for schools that have gym or auditorium capacity to hold 1,500 people and a pool of 100 students that can sell tickets and provide hotel rooms and the meals for the artist and crew.
