WHAT ARE BAND DIRECTORS SAYING?

Although the evidence shows that participation in school music programs supports higher achievement in reading and math, never in my 39 year career have the challenges to developing & maintaining high level public school music programs been greater. Now that we have serious economic challenges all over America, the need for creative ways to raise money to support our music programs is critical to our success. This is one of the newest and most creative ideas I have encountered to meet these challenges

It is so important that we promote the values High School music programs have to offer. We must give our youth positive outlets for them to find that since of belonging they all crave. The I Love Music Tour will spotlight our students on the same stage as their favorite recording artist and will give them a big feeling of pride and accomplishment.
