BILL COTTAM
Bill
Cottam is a twenty-year veteran of the marketing industry. Cottam joined the
foundation in the summer of 2009 and has been the catalyst in moving the
foundation to a national level. Cottam has a long history in the
industry and is known for launching highly successful marketing
campaigns. While developing
ON THE TURN, Cottam worked with 360
Productions and produced 3 successful NEXT STEP CAMPUS TOURS. For
360 Productions, Cottam also leveraged deals to create great cross
promotional opportunities with such companies as Ford, Xbox, MLB
Properties, World Poker Tour and Gibson Guitars.
Prior to that, Cottam served as the Entertainment Marketing Manager for
Crocs Footwear in Colorado where he was responsible for many national
sponsorships and involving the Crocs brand in music and lifestyle
festivals. Cottam originally joined Crocs in February 2006 to help
launch its new college licensed product. After a successful launch of
the Collegiate Program, Cottam was promoted to Sr. Manager of Sports
Licensing and was part of a team that launched ventures with the NFL,
NASCAR, NHL, MLB and other professional sports.
In his two years as Regional Sponsorship Manager with U.S. Cellular,
Cottam created sponsorship relationships with the NFL St. Louis Rams,
MLB St. Louis Cardinals, Oklahoma State University, University of
Oklahoma and many others across a region that ranged from
St. Louis to California.
